Is Roobet legit and legal in Canada?

Roobet is a legit, licensed casino for Canadians outside Ontario. Raw Entertainment B.V. holds Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/687/0427, and Canada does not appear on the 25 restricted territories in clause 3.5 of the operator's terms. Ontario players are the exception, since the site has no iGaming Ontario licence.

We checked the licence on the Curaçao Gaming Authority's own OGL register dated 2 October 2026, where OGL/2024/687/0427 is listed to Raw Entertainment B.V. as a B2C licence with company number 157205 and an indefinite term. The register lists the company, not the website, so the link to roobet.com comes from clause 1 of the casino's terms, which names www.roobet.com as the site run under that licence. That gives Canadian players a named regulator and a named company behind the site.

Raw Entertainment B.V. is registered at Korporaalweg 10, Curaçao. Fiat payments run through Raw Entertainment Ltd, a Cyprus company (HE421735) that acts as the group's paying agent, so a card or Interac statement may show a Cypriot merchant name rather than the casino brand.

The Curaçao Gaming Authority issues OGL licences under Curaçao's National Ordinance on Games of Chance, which replaced the older master and sub-licence system. A Curaçao licence is offshore, so it does not carry the player protections of a Canadian provincial regulator. Disputes go to the operator first at CS@roobet.com under clause 25 of its terms.

Trustpilot has also suspended the casino's public rating for a breach of its review guidelines, so no star score shows on the 2,289-review profile as of 6 October 2026. We read that as a reason to check the terms closely, not as proof of wrongdoing.

Can you play Roobet in Ontario?

Roobet does not hold an iGaming Ontario licence and is not authorised to serve Ontario players. iGaming Ontario registers private operators for the province under AGCO supervision, and Raw Entertainment B.V. is not on that list, so Ontario residents should stick to the Ontario online casinos that carry an iGO registration. Players in the rest of Canada can still reach the crypto-first casino through its Curaçao Gaming Authority licence.

Several review sites say the site blocks Ontario addresses. We could not confirm that block from Raw Entertainment's own pages, and clause 8.11 of its terms puts the onus on the player to stay out of any jurisdiction where access is not allowed.

Is Roobet available in Alberta after the AGLC launch?

Roobet is not among the 28 operators registered with the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC) for the regulated market that opened on 13 July 2026. Alberta is not one of the casino's 25 restricted territories, but an AGLC registration is what puts a site inside Alberta's regulated market, and Raw Entertainment's casino does not have one. Albertans who want provincial oversight, AGLC dispute handling and Alberta-specific safer gambling tools need a registered site.

Which website is the real Roobet?

Roobet's terms name only one website domain, roobet.com, in clause 1 and the account definitions in clause 3.1. Search results for "Roobet Canada" now include several lookalike ".ca" and ".org" sites that are not named anywhere in Raw Entertainment's terms. Type roobet.com directly rather than clicking a lookalike link, and check that the footer names Raw Entertainment B.V. and licence OGL/2024/687/0427 before you sign up.

How does the Roobet C$100,000 Weekly Raffle work?

The Roobet C$100,000 Weekly Raffle splits its prize pool across 100 randomly drawn players each week, and every C$1,000 you wager site-wide earns 1 ticket. The operator replaced a traditional welcome bonus with this draw, so new and existing players compete for the same pool.

We went through the raffle page on 6 October 2026 for the 5 to 12 October 2026 draw. Each week also has a game of the week that earns 2 tickets per C$1,000 wagered. That week it was Pots of Greed by Meta Gaming, which means a player who wants more tickets for the same spend can switch to the featured game.

The draw runs Monday to Monday and winners are credited before noon UTC on the closing Monday. Bets must be placed and settled before the end date to count, and tickets cannot be earned once the draw closes.

The raffle page we checked lists no wagering requirement on prize money. Clause 14.2 of the terms says every promotion must be claimed within 30 days or it is forfeited. Sponsored funds earn no tickets and sponsored influencers cannot win, which means paid streamers are not in the same pool as regular players.

Do the maths before chasing tickets. At C$1,000 wagered per ticket, the draw only makes sense for players who already wager heavily, because a casual player will hold very few tickets against high-volume accounts. Does Roobet still offer cashback?

As of October 2026, Roobet limits cashback to eligible VIPs, listing "activity-based cashback" on its VIP page, and players cannot apply for it. The 20% casino and sportsbook cashback deals from our earlier review no longer appear on the promotions page we checked on 6 October 2026, so we have removed them.

VIP status at Roobet is invitation-only, with no application process. The VIP page says invitations go to players with consistent play at higher stakes and a mix of casino, live casino and sports betting, which means a casual Canadian player should not count on the cashback at all.

The VIP page does not publish cashback rates, how often it pays or whether it carries wagering, so we cannot put a number on its value. Other perks listed there are weekly cash rewards from slot play, VIP-only monthly promotions with cash, free spins and prizes, larger VIP prize pools, invitation-only events and 24/7 VIP support. Roobet also runs a rakeback scheme called RooWards, but its rates were not published on the pages we checked, so neither scheme counts toward our score.

Interac and Crypto Banking at Roobet

Canadian players can use Interac for both deposits and withdrawals at Roobet, with deposits processed immediately under clause 9.4 of the terms and no published processing time for withdrawals. Crypto covers Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, USDT and Binance Coin, which means Canadian players without Interac access can still fund and cash out an account.

The method list and limits below are carried over from our 30 September 2026 review. We could not get a fresh screenshot of the Canadian cashier for this update, so treat the minimums and maximums as a guide and check them in the cashier before you deposit. The terms (clauses 9.3 and 10.2) say minimum deposits and withdrawals can change at any time and are shown on the site.

The on-site wallet is called the Iron Pouch, and every deposit has to be wagered before you can withdraw it under clause 10.1. That is a light rule compared with a bonus rollover, but it does mean depositing and withdrawing straight back out is not allowed. What fees does Roobet charge on fiat payments?

Every successful fiat deposit at Roobet carries a 1% fee under clause 9.7 of its terms, taken straight off the amount you deposit. A C$500 Interac deposit lands as C$495 in the Iron Pouch, so the fee costs C$5 before you place a bet.

Fiat withdrawals carry a separate 2% fee under clause 10.8 once you reach 10 fiat withdrawals in a rolling 30 days, and the fee applies to the 10th withdrawal and every one after it. Most players will never hit that count, which means the 1% deposit fee is the one that matters week to week. Clauses 9.3 and 10.2 also warn that payment providers may add their own charges.

Crypto deposits and withdrawals are not covered by the 1% or 2% fiat fees in the terms, but network fees set by the blockchain still apply.

How long do Roobet withdrawals take?

Roobet does not publish withdrawal processing times in its terms, so we cannot give a timeframe for Interac or crypto payouts. What the terms do set out is the checks that can slow a withdrawal down.

• Identity and ownership - Clause 10.5 lets the operator hold a withdrawal until your identity, your payment method and any extra information it asked for are verified
• Deposit wagering - Each deposit must be wagered before it can be withdrawn under clause 10.1
• Same method - Fiat withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with under clause 10.7, unless you prove another account is yours
• Split payouts - If you used several methods, clause 10.9 lets the casino split one withdrawal across them
• Enhanced checks - Clause 10.4 allows Raw Entertainment to delay or decline a withdrawal during an investigation without explaining why
• Wrong wallet - Crypto sent to a wrong or invalid address is the player's loss under clause 10.11

Finish KYC under clause 4.9 before your first withdrawal request, which means the most common hold is out of the way before you have money waiting.

Roobet Sportsbook for Canadian Bettors

Canadian bettors get the Roobet sportsbook in the same account and Iron Pouch wallet as the casino, listed as its own section in the left-hand menu next to a Predictions tab. The shared wallet means Canadian bettors can move from a hockey bet to a live table without a transfer between balances.

The sportsbook terms are strict on sharp play. Clause 13.5 lets the sportsbook void bets linked to arbitrage, matched betting, insider knowledge or "irregular betting patterns", and clause 12.4 covers bets placed on obvious odds errors. Clause 12.5 also bars sportsbook bets while a deposit bonus wager is active, though with no welcome bonus running, most Canadian players will not run into it.

The raffle page counts wagers "site-wide" but is tagged as a casino promotion, so we could not confirm whether sportsbook bets earn raffle tickets. Ask support before you rely on them.

Roobet has no native mobile app for iOS or Android listed in its lobby or terms as of 6 October 2026, so the mobile browser version at roobet.com is the route we can confirm for Canadian players. The browser site uses the same account, Iron Pouch wallet and lobby sections as desktop, which means nothing needs installing to play on a phone.

We did not test the mobile site on a device for this update, so we are not rating its speed. Clause 15.1 of the terms notes that some products may need software downloads, and if Raw Entertainment releases an app we will update this section.

Responsible Gambling Tools at Roobet

Self-exclusion is the main tool in Roobet's responsible gambling policy, last changed on 7 April 2026, with exclusions of up to 5 years or permanently set up in two steps. You start it from the Responsible Gambling tab in your account, and each step asks for your password again.

On balance, our verdict is that Roobet suits Canadian crypto players outside Ontario who wager heavily and want a casino and sportsbook on one wallet. Its C$100,000 Weekly Raffle pays 100 players every Monday, the Evolution and Pragmatic Play exclusive tables run from C$1 to C$100, and Raw Entertainment B.V. publishes its Curaçao Gaming Authority licence number in plain view.

Against that, there is no welcome bonus, every fiat deposit loses 1% to fees, withdrawal times are not published, and the responsible gambling page offers self-exclusion but no deposit limits. Ontario and Alberta players should use a provincially registered site instead.
