Best Casinos with SYNOT Games (December)

Learn Everything about SYNOT Games

SYNOT Games is based out of Bratislava, Slovakia and was set up in 2016. However, its parent company SYNOT Group has been around much longer having been established way back in 1991. Founded by Ivo Valenta, it began life as a manufacturer of gaming cabinets before expanding into tourism and real estate.  Despite considerable diversification, the development of innovative gaming technologies remains central to the company’s business.

In terms of iGaming, SYNOT Games is effectively the group’s online wing. Staffed by a team of iGaming experts, it’s built up a decent portfolio of slots that are served to an extensive range of jurisdictions, among them, Bulgaria, Croatia, Spain, the UK and Malta. All of the games are fully certified and accredited by independent testing laboratories.

What Makes SYNOT Games Stand Out?

One of the big takeaways for us is SYNOT Games continued expansion into new casino markets, particularly Europe. Major deals have been struck with major brands including the likes of Play North,, Green Tube StarGames and CBet.

Despite being backed by an influential parent company, the developer’s growing reputation is largely due to the core product: slot games. Not particularly large by the standards of most major developers, SYNOT Games’ portfolio is nevertheless populated by titles noted for their high-levels of presentation and playability.

Brief History of SYNOT Games

SYNOT Games’ relatively short story is one of sustained expansion. The company first started to make waves back in 2017 when it launched its slots in Bosnia and Herzegovina followed by Serbia. Later that year, the company acquired a Class II license by the Romanian National Gambling Office, thereby opening up another market. By late 2018, Croatia had also been added to the list - at that time the ninth country to allow SYNOT Games to serve online slots to its populace. Numerous others have since followed including Denmark, Spain, Bulgaria and more recently Lithuania.

Company expansion has been fuelled by a raft of high-profile deals. One of its biggest early coups was to secure a distribution partnership with casino aggregator, EveryMatrix – a major step forward given that the aggregator provided access to a huge audience spanning multiple European markets.

Following the acquisition of its MGA license in 2019, SYNOT then signed an agreement with iSoftBet which saw its games integrated into the Game Aggregation Platform (GAP) – a framework used by some of Europe’s best real money casinos. The company also received the 2019 Malta iGaming Excellence Award for Malta’s BEST Rising Star in Gaming.

Similar arrangements have been made with iGaming specialists such as Play North, Green Tube and Gaming 1. Gaining access to new markets is clearly a big priority– it’s fair to say that the company has been pretty relentless in this area. ‘Consolidation’ clearly isn’t in their vocabulary.

Despite starting off with just 35 SYNOT slot games, the company has expanded its offering to over 100. Some of the most popular titles include Zeus Wild Thunder, Legends of the Colosseum Megaways, Coins of Luck and Firebird 27.

Present and future of SYNOT Games

SYNOT Games continues to increase its footprint in Europe with deals already struck with German, Italian and Spanish casinos. Some efforts have also been made to establish a foothold in the US – in the summer of 2021, a distribution partnership was struck with GAN. However, it appears that Europe remains the company’s main focus for the foreseeable future.

SYNOT Game Portfolio

SYNOT’s portfolio is made up of retro-themed and adventure-styled slots. All games feature adjustable RTPs that can be adjusted according to accepted levels, ranging from 88 – 98%. They’re also available in HD and Ultra HD across multiple resolutions.  One of the most popular recurring features is the HALVE option in which players can choose to risk half of their winnings by guessing the colour of a card.

A lot of SYNOT slot games are retro-themed titles which fall under the ‘fruity’ category and include titles such as Eldorado, Fruity Gold 81 and 6 Fruits Deluxe. These online slots are essentially classic/contemporary hybrids featuring three to six reels. Although they’re replete with old-school images such as fruit symbols, they also include modern elements such as mystery symbols, scatters and wilds. The number of pay-lines is often far above what you might expect from a classic slot game.

You’ve also got a range of ‘dice’ games. These SYNOT slots feature dice images that replace standard symbols.

Despite thematic similarities, SYNOT Games are lavishly-designed and highly-polished. In terms of gameplay, expect to find the kind of features that you would with any modern game including stacked and sticky wilds, scatters, multipliers and free spin bonus rounds.

SYNOT Jackpot Games

SYNOT Games doesn’t currently offer any jackpot games. Their game collection consists solely of standard slot games. This might of course change in the near future. Should we learn of any releases, we’ll provide further information here.

SYNOT Card & Table Games

At present, card and table games are not part of SYNOT's portfolio. To date, the company has focused its attention on creating online slots to the exclusion of all else.

SYNOT Games Video Poker

The SYNOT Casino game collection doesn’t include video poker games. As with jackpot slots, card and table games, the focus is one reel-spinning.

Most Popular SYNOT games

SYNOT Games has recently introduced some exciting new features to their popular online slot games, and I had the opportunity to try them out.

One of the most interesting features is the Buy feature, which allows players to purchase bonus rounds without having to wait for them to trigger naturally. This feature adds an extra layer of excitement to the gameplay and can increase the chances of landing big wins. In Book of Secrets Extra, I found this feature particularly useful, as it allowed me to access the lucrative bonus round without having to spin the reels multiple times.

SYNOT Games has released a number of highly successful slot games. Here are three of the provider’s most successful thus far.

Zeus Wild Thunder

This 2022 game comprises a 5 x 4 setup with 40 pay-lines. Although Zeus Wild Thunder is unoriginal as far as themes goes, it is highly-polished, visually, But it’s the three free spin modes and Wrath of Zeus feature that sets it apart.

Skull Bonanza

Highly reminiscent of IGT’s Day of the Dead, this Skull Bonanza slot game resonated with players thanks largely to its potential pay-out of 10,000x the player stake. The game play is infused with other potentially lucrative features including sticky wilds and multipliers.

Book of Secrets 6

Although showing its age a bit now (released in 2020) Book of Secrets 6 remains one of SYNOT’s classics. Also boasting a potential 10,000x stake payout, the game includes expanding symbols, a simple but engaging base game and a generous RTP of 96%.

New Games by SYNOT

As with all successful slot game providers, SYNOT doesn’t exactly rest on its laurels when it comes to releasing games. To date, it’s managed to release around 14 each year. Three of its latest titles include Coins of Luck, Multi Bricks and Hot Dice.

Our thoughts on SYNOT Games

Suffice to say that SYNOT Games has been relentless in its efforts to expand since being established in 2016. The company’s blog tells a story of partnerships, blockbuster game releases, the acquisition of gaming licenses and the opening up of new markets. The company is clearly very ambitious. This ambition is underpinned by an impressive portfolio of games. Although quite small, it has attracted plenty of attention from industry experts and players alike. The only thing that’s really missing is a collection of alternative casino games. Maybe this is something they’ll rectify in the near future.

Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the new features in SYNOT Games' latest slot games. The Buy feature and Megaways feature add a new level of excitement to the gameplay, while Sweet Dream provides a unique and relaxing gaming experience. I would highly recommend these games to anyone looking for a fun and rewarding online slot experience.
