Who is behind Formula Spin?

Formulaspin OÜ is an independent private limited company registered in Tallinn on 5 April 2024, with no parent group above it. The Estonian business register lists Yaroslav Bichenko as its sole management board member, and he also works as Chief Commercial Officer. Oleg Galushko is the public face of the business as CEO. The studio doesn't publish a headcount, so we can't tell you how big the development team is.

Things moved fast after launch. The iTech Labs RNG certificate is dated 28 May 2024, and the website went live with a first batch of games on 25 May 2024. Fortune 27 followed on 19 June as the first new release the studio announced. Distribution deals came next, including Slotegrator in November 2024, EveryMatrix in April 2025 and Infingame in May 2025. The biggest step came in mid-2025, when SOFTSWISS added Formula Spin to its Game Aggregator, a hub carrying more than 30,000 games. That SOFTSWISS deal is the one that matters most for players, because it's the route that puts these games into a lot of crypto-friendly casino lobbies. We found no industry awards or shortlist nominations so far.

What makes Formula Spin different?

Formula Spin's clearest trait is its focus on Hold to Win coin games, which make up 13 of its 43 titles. The format is the studio's version of the coin-collect bonus round, built around fixed in-game jackpot tiers. Coin Era, Cool Dragon, Hyper Coin and Home of Gold all follow it, which means you can switch themes without learning a new bonus round each time.

Casinos get a set of promo tools on top of the games, including SCRATCH WIN, API Free Rounds and tournaments. The API free-round support lets a casino attach free spins to a specific title such as Hyper Coin, so you may see spin offers tied to one Formula Spin game rather than a generic slot.

Formula Spin says its games need only 5MB to launch. We haven't tested load times ourselves, but iGaming Expert describes the range as mobile-first HTML5, and the practical upside is a quicker start on mobile data. The studio also supports both fiat and crypto currencies, which goes a long way to explaining why its games turn up mostly at crypto casinos.

New games have arrived almost every month in 2026. Between January and August the studio released 10 titles, starting with Sky of Olympus in January and running through X-Monkey (March), Hyper Coin (June), Home of Gold 2 (July) and Fortunizer (August). Jelly Joker and Hell Spell are the newest additions to the lobby. On 25 September 2026, Formula Spin also announced a content deal with Kanggiten, a B2B platform that runs content for more than 50 brands, so expect the games to show up in more places over the coming months.

Which Formula Spin games are worth playing?

Formula Spin's catalogue has 43 titles, made up of 42 slot games and one crash game. There's no live dealer, table, bingo or virtual content, so if blackjack or roulette is what you're after, our list of live dealer casinos is a better place to start. On the game pages we checked, slot RTPs run from 95% (Wild Boom and Wild Dice) up to 96.3% (Hell Spell, Sky of Olympus and King of Fishing). Trade press reports that casinos can adjust the RTP on these games, which means the figure at your casino may sit below the provider's default, so check the info screen before you play. Our guide to how to play slot games online covers RTP and volatility if you want a refresher.

Every jackpot here is a fixed in-game tier. Formula Spin runs no progressive network, which means a Grand prize is a set multiple of your bet and not a pooled sum that grows over time.

Hold to Win coin games

Coin Era Hold to Win is Formula Spin's flagship coin game, a 5x3 slot with 20 fixed lines, a 96% RTP and a top win of over 5,300x. The bonus mixes a Hold to Win round with quest-based free spins, and there's a buy feature plus four in-game jackpots topped by a Grand worth 5,000x your bet. A sequel, Coin Era 2, landed in June 2025, and it's the version SOFTSWISS now lists among the studio's top games.

Hyper Coin Hold to Win (June 2026) uses a 3-5-3 layout with 45 ways, a 96.1% RTP, medium volatility and wins of up to 5,500x. A collector symbol feeds the Hyper Bonus Game, with four jackpot tiers on top. Medium volatility tends to mean smaller, more regular hits than the cascade games further down, which suits longer sessions on a modest bankroll.

Cool Dragon Hold to Win shares that 3-5-3, 45-ways shape and the 96.1% RTP, with a ceiling of over 5,500x and a Dragon Bonus Feature. Home of Gold 2 Hold to Win (July 2026) shrinks things to a 3x3 grid with a 96.0% RTP, medium volatility and a top win of 4,500x. It still fits in a Mystery Feature, a buy-bonus option and five jackpot tiers, which is a lot going on for nine reel positions.

Cascade and high-volatility games

Hell Spell shares the top ceiling in Formula Spin's slot range with Sky of Olympus. It's a 6x5 cascade game with high volatility, a 96.3% RTP and a top win of over 15,000x. Multiplier symbols, free spins, a buy option and an X3 Chance ante bet make it the studio's most aggressive title, so expect long dry spells between the big hits. When we researched this page, Bets.io listed it as an exclusive.

Sky of Olympus (January 2026) matches those headline numbers with a 96.3% RTP and over 15,000x, on a 6x5 grid where symbols pay anywhere. Cascades, multipliers, bonus buys and an X3 Chance mode are all included. The Olympus theme and pay-anywhere mechanic will feel familiar if you've played Gates of Olympus from Pragmatic Play. The provider doesn't publish a volatility rating for this one.

Jelly Joker has a lower ceiling of over 5,000x but the same appetite for risk, with high volatility, a 96.0% RTP and an X4 Chance mode alongside its cascades and free spins.

Classic fruit and retro games

Numbered variants dominate this corner of the lobby. There are five Prime Fruits versions (5, 10, 20, 40 and 100 lines), plus Hit Classic, Fruit Attack, Sizzling Chilli, Full Hot and a four-game "27" series. 100 Prime Fruits is the one to try, a 5x4 slot with 100 fixed lines, a 95.9% RTP and a top win of over 1,500x, and SOFTSWISS lists it among Formula Spin's top games.

Ceilings here are modest. Fruit Attack tops out at over 500x, and Fortunizer (August 2026), a 3x3 game with 5 lines, a 96.2% RTP and medium volatility, stops at 1,000x despite its MULTI WHEEL feature. Book of Maat (5x3, 10 lines, 96.1% RTP) gives you more room, with a top win of over 6,200x through its Scales of Maat feature.

X-Monkey crash game

X-Monkey is Formula Spin's only non-slot title, an arcade crash game released in March 2026 where each jump raises the multiplier. You choose from four difficulty modes (Lite, Standard, Pro and Extreme), and the top win reaches 15,000x depending on the mode. The provider publishes two RTP versions, 95.8% and 93.8%. That lower figure is weak by slot standards, so check which version your casino runs before you play.

Where can Canadians play Formula Spin games?

Formula Spin games are available at three casinos InsideCasino CA has reviewed. At KatsuBet you'll find 42 Formula Spin titles, all with demo play. The lobby at 7Bit Casino holds around 41, also playable for free, and Bets.io carries the full 43-game catalogue with Hell Spell included. All three are crypto-friendly, which suits players who plan to deposit with Bitcoin or other coins.

Outside those three, Formula Spin's footprint in Canada is thin. SlotCatalog's October 2026 scan found Formula Spin games at 55 of the 479 casinos it checked for the Canadian market, and it ranks the studio #92 among providers there. We found no evidence of AGCO registration or iGaming Ontario availability, so Formula Spin is very likely absent from Ontario's regulated market. Elsewhere in Canada, you'll reach its games through offshore sites.

You must be 18+ to play in Alberta, Manitoba or Quebec, and 19+ everywhere else in Canada. Set a deposit limit before you start, and if gambling stops feeling like entertainment, your provincial problem gambling helpline offers free, confidential support.

Formula Spin pros and cons

Independent player feedback on Formula Spin is still scarce. We found almost no forum discussion, and the only player-rated title we found on a major review aggregator scored 2.6 out of 5 from four votes. The pros and cons below are our own editorial take.

Pros

  • A clear house style built on Hold to Win coin games (13 of 43 titles)
  • Hell Spell and Sky of Olympus pair a 96.3% RTP with wins of over 15,000x
  • Light builds, with the provider quoting 5MB to launch
  • Fiat and crypto support, with most lobbies at crypto-friendly casinos
  • Free demos on most of the provider's game pages and at casinos
  • Steady output, with 10 new games between January and August 2026

Cons

  • Heavy reliance on numbered variants and sequels (five Prime Fruits versions, the "27" series, Coin Era 2, Home of Gold 2, Santa Coin Reel 2)
  • No licence named on the studio's own site, and the Curaçao listing on SOFTSWISS doesn't match the regulator's public register
  • A small, young catalogue with no table or live games
  • Thin presence in Canada (55 of 479 casinos in SlotCatalog's October 2026 scan)
  • Many classic games have low ceilings (Fruit Attack over 500x, Fortunizer 1,000x)
  • Very few independent player reviews so far

Is Formula Spin worth playing?

Formula Spin is worth a look if you like Hold to Win coin games or high-volatility cascades and already play at a crypto casino that stocks it. For a studio not yet three years old it has moved quickly, and its best titles hold up. Hell Spell and Sky of Olympus sit at 96.3% with ceilings above 15,000x, and Coin Era and Cool Dragon are solid takes on the Hold to Win format. The iTech Labs certificate counts in its favour, though it only covers the random number generator. It isn't a per-game RTP audit, and it isn't a licence.

Disclosure is the weak spot. Formula Spin would earn more trust by publishing its licence details on its own website, since the only Curaçao reference we found comes from an aggregator listing we couldn't match to the regulator's register. We'd also like to see fewer reskins. Five Prime Fruits variants and a four-game "27" series pad the count without adding much variety.

Until the licensing picture is clearer, we wouldn't rate Formula Spin alongside the established studios behind the games on our real money casinos lists.

Formula Spin doesn't name a gaming licence on its own website. SOFTSWISS lists the Curaçao Gaming Authority, but we couldn't find the studio on the regulator's public register. iTech Labs certified the studio's random number generator in May 2024, which is a positive sign for game fairness, and our guide to how online casino games are certified explains what that testing covers.

Free demos of Formula Spin games are available on most of the provider's own game pages and at KatsuBet and 7Bit Casino. Demo mode uses play money, so you can get a feel for a game's volatility before you deposit anything.
