Rightlander Extends Marketing Compliance Services to Ontario’s iGaming Sector

by Ralph Trayfalgar Updated:

As the newly-regulated iGaming market in Ontario ramps up to an ever bigger opening on April 4, marketing compliance firm Rightlander has announced that they will be extending their services to legal online casinos in Ontario

Rightlander is a UK-based consulting firm that specializes in providing compliance assistance for iGaming operators and suppliers, with over 100 clients throughout North America.

As per regulations from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), these operators and suppliers must adhere to high standards of responsible gaming, integrity, fairness, player protection, and social responsibility in order to maintain their licenses. Rightlander's suite of products and services has been designed to assist organizations in meeting these requirements.

“It was only a matter of time before the Canadian iGaming sector started down the path to regulation," said Rightlander founder Ian Sims.

"We have been scanning at the state level in the USA for a while now and are well equipped to monitor individual states in Canada, like Ontario.  Rightlander is able to scan from local IP addresses so our clients get to see how content is geo-targeted to consumers, at both country and state level.”

In anticipation of the April 4 opening, AGCO has granted licenses to the likes of Rivalry Corporation, PointsBet, theScore Bet, and 888 Casino, among other operators.

Finally, the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) and the Canadian Gaming Association (CGA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the AGCO to establish a framework for how the two organizations can collaborate to combat betting corruption.
