FanDuel named NFL Official Sportsbook Partner in Canada

by Ralph Trayfalgar Updated:

FanDuel, one of North America's most prominent sports betting firms, has been named an Official Sportsbook Partner for the National Football League (NFL) in Canada.

This partnership marks yet another important milestone for FanDuel, which has been working toward expanding its presence in the North American market and increasing its level of fan engagement.

The partnership with the NFL in Canada is a step towards increasing the company's media presence and adding to the overall experience of betting on sports. While FanDuel is already well-represented within Ontario gambling and the majority of the regulated jurisdictions in the United States, this partnership is a step towards increasing the company's presence in Canada.

FanDuel is confident that it can provide sports fans with a number of excellent options, whether those options involve fantasy and free-to-play games or overall engagement, unique sports bets, and other activities.

The company will leverage its affiliation with TSN and collaborate with the NFL to create exclusive content series, thereby expanding the reach of the league and increasing its visibility.

FanDuel's branding assets, meanwhile, will be featured across the National Football League's digital channels as well as its physical locations, including th eofficial NFL.com website.

Dale Hopper, General Manager of FanDuel Canada, expressed excitement about the company's decision to take on this partnership in Canada and stated that the company was happy to have this opportunity.

Both the NFL and FanDuel will place a strong emphasis on the promotion of responsible gambling in Canada. FanDuel is committed to raising the bar in terms of safe and responsible gambling, which they have been doing through the "Play Well" initiative. This initiative guarantees, in essence, that a gambler or their loved ones will never be harmed by any bet that they place. FanDuel is confident that it has already accomplished this goal.

Gavin Kemp, NFL Director of Corporate Partnerships for Canada, expressed positive sentiments from the league and stated that the two organizations are going to provide fans with experiences that bring them "closer to the game."
