Maltese casino group brand ComeOn has been granted an operator license by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and will open in the region later this year.
As part of its strategy for entering the Ontario gambling market, the business will use its main brand, ComeOn, which is mainly concentrated on supplying casino games. The group also plans to introduce its WeSpin product later down the line.
ComeOn casino has recently expanded its portfolio of locally controlled licenses as part of a growth plan, the company said.
“With Ontario regulating, we are delighted to have been granted a licence in one of the largest regulated states in North America,” said Juergen Reutter, CEO of ComeOn Group. “ComeOn has been one of our flagship brands for more than 12 years and is powered by our proprietary iGaming platform we keep innovating on to provide an exciting and safe player experience to our customers.
“We will bring WeSpin and other casino innovations to the market, as we have done in so many locally regulated markets before. To add, this licence process has showcased once more the strength of our teams coming together to make this happen in a timely fashion.”
The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario regulates Ontario’s gaming business, which has licensed a constant stream of suppliers and providers over the previous several months, with Pariplay’s recent Ontario license being another notable example.
ComeOn Group was created in 2008, and its first internet brand was launched the following year.
With a focus on casino and sports betting, it serves a variety of regions through its own platform, which hosts over 20 brands. A recent cooperation with Leap Gaming resulted in Leap’s catalog of games being made available in the Nordic markets under ComeOn’s Malta Gaming Authority license.
