A gambling supplier license from the Ontario government has been awarded to Bragg Gaming Group, allowing the business-to-business company to distribute its betting material and technology to other online casinos in Ontario.
Bragg Gaming's license will allow it to collaborate with business-to-consumer (B2C) operators in the province. Rivalry Corporation, PointsBet, theScore Bet (a subsidiary of Penn National Gaming), and 888 Casino Holdings are just some of the other companies that have been awarded a gambling license in Ontario thus far.
The license also includes Bragg Gaming's player account management technology, known as PAM, as well as its portfolio of iGaming and sports betting material. The license was awarded by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and is valid for three years.
The Canadian province of Ontario will be loosening gambling regulations to allow people to play online casinos for real money on April 4, following a process that will have taken precisely two years. Upon opening, Ontario is expected to be one of the major iGaming markets in North America, according to industry analysts.
